'A Response'
Two pieces of my work in the Citadel, St Helens. This group exhibition is titled 'A Response', the brief involved creating work based around personal feelings or memories regarding the Citadel. My paintings were based on the theme, Identity. The mask represents the hidden personality that a performer covers with their character during a performance. I feel an invisible mask is used by many people in circumstances where they may feel uncomfortable or they are not confident in showing their 'true' personality.

Art Bag
This image may look familiar as it has been previously uploaded unedited as a painting. I have recently edited it to make it appear brighter and bolder to submit to a bag design competition. I am pleased to announce it won me a place of one of four winners who will get their design printed onto 30 canvas bags to be sold to the general public during 'Art in the Market' at St Mary's Market, St Helens.

Since completing my degee ive been working on a few ideas and have joined 'platform' an arts community in st Helens which has helped me experience art opportunities in the 'real' world and meet some great local artists! I not have the 'Blogger' app so will hopefully be able to keep you updated on my progress into the art world :-)
