So the private viewing of the BA2 Exhibition is tomorrow, each person in our group has one piece of work up on display so i thought it was about time i updated my blog with recent work, i hope u enjoy viewing it.

Exhibition

So, getting closer to the Uni exhibition, we have a definate date for the opening show which is the 19th April. The group has a link and separate blog which you can find on twitter by searching and following @ba2exhibition.

I have been busy doing the written side of my work recently. The project i'm working on now 'discrimination' is going to go on for a while so new paintings will keep being uploading as i'm producing them and some that will be shown in exhibition may be up for sale. My main influences for this project is Lucian Freud and Jenny Saville as i like there realistic style of painting and Saville's Subjects have always interested me and seem extremely appropriate for this project.

A week off uni time to spend doing all written work while new paintings are drying.will be updates of my practical work in about a week. Transgender and obesity works are being improved and experimentation of materials are due to be made on certain pieces. lots of research to do this week and galleries to be visited including Leonardo Da Vinci in Birmingham museum and art gallery.
